About us

Having a cut flower farm has been one of Chellie’s dreams for many years. That dream started to become more possible when we moved to a 6 acre property in Rougemont, North Carolina in 2021.

After gardening on our property for 4 years, we decided to start the flower farm in 2025. Beginning in 2026, we will sell flowers at our onsite farm stand from April - October and at local markets.

Red Mountain Farm is a family business. Chellie oversees growing, harvesting, and arranging the flowers as well as the business aspects of the farm. Adam constructs beds and fences. Nell, who has loved gardening for all of her short life, helps plant seeds and dig holes.

As with Chellie’s pottery business, our work is inspired by nature and the wildlife around our home. We grow our flowers hand in hand with nature, providing food, water, and shelter for birds and other wildlife.
